Secaucus, NJ — ACME Cosmetics Components, LLC (“ACME”) announced Margot Collins has joined the company as the new Vice President of Finance.
Margot Collins, who holds her MBA from Erasmus University in the Netherlands as well as a master’s degree in Accounting, is a social impact leader with over fifteen years of experience as a finance executive. Collins has spent much of her career working with international and multinational companies making her a powerful component for ACME as they set the foundation for developments in Europe this year.
“Not only did Margot come to the role with a strong and applicable background, but it was clear that her personality would just ‘fit’ with the rest of the team,” says Mike Roughton, President and CEO of ACME Cosmetics Components. “Moreover, her very visible intellect and inquisitive nature assured us that we had someone who would challenge us, and readily dig into the details of the business in a way we very much needed her to.”
“What interested me about the company was that it has managed to, with a relatively small footprint, create a worldwide reach,” Margot Collins said about ACME. “Although the last few years have been uncertain for most if not all industries, I believe that the cosmetics industry is finding its way back perhaps even stronger than ever with body, beauty, and health-conscious millennials leading the way. I know ACME has a solid position and excellent reputation within this industry upon which it can and will continue to build, and I am excited to be part of this team as we move forward.”
“We are thrilled to have Margot as the new Vice President of Finance at ACME,” says Amy Forsythe, Principal of Foundation Investment Partners (FIP), the private equity firm that acquired ACME Cosmetics Components in December 2013. “She is an accomplished executive with significant financial and operational expertise, which makes her a major asset to the team. Her ability to quickly jump into the role and implement successful solutions has been astonishing, and I have no doubts the future of ACME is in good hands having her onboard.”
